Yeah we know, Virginia Beach gets cold during the winter. We love this place
so much, we decided to include it. We hope you'll love it as much
as we do. VBeach provides a fun family atmosphere as well as being a hotspot
for the young crowd. VBeach attracts crowds from the Maryland, Delaware and of course Virginia areas. Memorial
Day weekend is a big hangout affair with the hot bodies in full effect. Virginia
Beach has lots of places to party, eat and stay at affordable prices. Read
on and we'll give you the 411. Let's start with the party places.
Virginia Beach features the usual fare of party hang outs. Hot
Tuna is definitely a place to check out when in town. They usually feature the hottest local entertainment.
This spot is located at 2817 Shore Drive. Another joint is Peabody's. This
spot has been around for a while and is the the largest dance club at the beach.
They feature a huge dance floor, three monster bars and pool tables. They also feature national
recording artists on their stage.
There are lots of fast food joints in Virginia Beach. The pizza and burger joints are well represented.
However, if you want to do the sit down thing, there are many great restaurants on the boardwalk and
Atlantic Avenue. Watermans has some of the most spectacular views of the ocean from every table.
They feature steaks and grilled seafood. They have the only oceanfront nightclub called The
Attic.
Another premiere spot is Il Giardino. If Italian is your thing, this is the place. They have
authentic brick oven focaccia, seafood and pasta. This is just a small taste of what VBeach has
to offer. Check out our Restaurant guide for more hot spots.
At some point, you're going to have to sleep, shower...well at least sleep.
Like any tourist spot, VABeach has both affordable and high priced accomodations.
Take the Blue Marlin. This is a moderately
priced motel that won't break your wallet. If you want to go a bit more upscale,
try the Breakers Resort Inn. Our motto is 'I came to party, not sleep'. We go
for the (how do you say it) budget conscious digs so that
we have more money for the higher priority items :) |
